Improv is a form of live theatre where everything is made up on the spot. It’s a unique and exciting art form that allows you to unleash your creativity, build confidence, and have fun while doing it. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a complete beginner, improv has something to offer everyone.

But improv isn’t just about performing on stage. It’s also a great way to improve your communication skills, boost your creativity, and enhance your personal and professional life. Our courses are designed to help you develop skills that are applicable in any situation, from public speaking to problem-solving and everything in between.

The Unqualified Yes was founded in 2018, initially to bring the joy of improv to a small corner of East Suffolk that didn’t have much of an improv scene. Starting with weekly courses the company has gone on to add performances, workshops and even online teaching developed during the lockdown to keep us all playful and sane! And we’re pleased to say the East Suffolk improv scene is now thriving with a wonderful community of passionate improvisers who just can’t get enough of the joys of improv.

If you’re wondering, why we’re called The Unqualified Yes, its because an unqualified yes – saying yes without hesitation or judgement – is the path to great improv and endless possibilities!
